Every wedding I officiate is unique and meaningful, but some resonate on a deeply personal level. On the 5th of May 2024, I had the immense privilege of marrying my brother, Ravi, to his lovely bride, Britt, at the breathtaking Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary on the Gold Coast. This day was not only a celebration of their love but also a cherished family moment that I will remember forever.

A Magical Ceremony at FigTree Pond

The ceremony took place at FigTree Pond within the Sanctuary, a venue that can only be described as magical. Surrounded by a canopy of trees with sweeping branches, serene waterfalls, and a picturesque pond, the setting provided a relaxed open-air feel that perfectly matched Ravi and Britt’s vision for their special day. The natural beauty of the venue created an enchanting atmosphere where love was undeniably in the air.

A Unique Reception at The Homestead

Following the ceremony, the celebration moved to The Homestead, located within the Kangaroo Paddock. This unique reception venue offered guests the delightful opportunity to spend time with the animals between the wedding and reception. Featuring a large indoor dining space with wrap-around balconies and a charming beer garden, The Homestead was the perfect setting for an evening filled with joy and celebration. Ravi and Britt’s wedding was only the second event held at this new venue, making it even more special.

Elegance and Intimacy

Britt looked absolutely stunning in her gown, radiating beauty and elegance. Her choice of attire was complemented perfectly by her bridesmaids, who wore strapless white dresses from Bec and Bridge, adorned with leopard print belts and matching slingbacks. The men looked dashing in their suits, each sporting a leopard bow tie that added a touch of playful sophistication to their ensemble.

The wedding day was intimate, elegant, and filled with love. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, Ravi and Britt’s special day was a testament to their deep connection and the joy they bring to those around them.

Capturing Unforgettable Moments

Nick at Wallflower Weddings captured the most incredible photos of the day. The couple opted for a first look at Elephant Rock in Currumbin, a beautiful moment where they savoured the anticipation before the ceremony began. Family and friends watched from the apartments behind, sharing in the excitement from a distance.

The stunning florals were a labour of love, created by Britt's mum and sister. Each arrangement was thoughtfully crafted to enhance the natural surroundings, adding to the overall elegance of the day.

My Passion for Love Stories

Being a part of Ravi and Britt's wedding was not only a personal joy but also a professional highlight. I am a hopeless romantic and I love, love. This journey has confirmed that I have truly found my calling. I am dedicated to doing justice to your love story and ensuring that your wedding day is filled with joy, laughter, and unforgettable moments.
